Accounts Clerk

Our client, a disruptor in the travel and leisure industry is looking to recruit an Accounts Clerk to join their growing team. Working closely with the CFO, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out day to day accounting entries; 
  • Posting in accounting ledgers and other entries; 
  • Preparing bank reconciliations and EPOS reconciliation
  • Liaise with other team members to ensure that the invoices and expenses of the company are processed in a timely manner on the system 
  • Create, manage and maintain excel sheets to monitor sales
  • Dealing with deposits of cash/cheques
  • Compiling reports as necessary 
  • Filing and other administrative duties

Experience

  • An A-Level standard or education in Accounts or the equivalent 
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in spoken and written English 
  • Posses a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel; 
  • be familiar with accounting software; 

Skills

  • Meticulous and attentive to detail 
  • Flexible work attitude 
  • Ability to work in a team and in own initiative
