Claims Manager

Our client is currently looking for a Claims Manager to join their team. The Claims Manager shall be mainly responsible for directing and managing the Company’s Claims Department.


  • Overall day-to-day management of the Claims Department
  • Overseeing and improving all processes and procedures of the department
  • Ensuring claims data integrity at all times
  • Ensure timely and proper disposition of claims in accordance with policy coverages
  • Ensuring complete and sound claims settlements, legal reviews and investigations in accordance with the Company’s internal policies and procedures
  • Provide any necessary in-house training to employees within the Company’s Claims Department
  • Assisting the Company’s Senior Manager with the setting up of budgets
  • Preparing management reports for the Executive Team and Board of Directors
  • Communicating Company goals to the Company’s employees and encouraging a positive culture
  • Assisting the Senior Manager and HR function with the recruitment process for the department
  • Ensuring employees follow all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally

Education & Experience:

  • Must have at least eight (8) years of experience in the Insurance Industry with a 3 to 5 years specifically within Claims
  • Must possess an Insurance qualification
  • Is approved by the MFSA or fit to be approved


  • Has strong decision-making skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
