PHP Developer

Our client, an established gaming company, is recruiting a PHP Developer to exclusively work on their affiliate platform! Working closely with a team of 10, the ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing new features and developing current ones using cutting edge technologies. Additionally, the responsibilities will also include:

  • Liaising with the team leader to understand business needs and discuss technical solutions
  • Performing and overseeing launches and updates
  • Ensuring the code is optimised, documented, properly structured, meets industry standards and views are compatible with browsers, devices or operating systems
  • Working throughout the full development life-cycle, using Agile development processes
  • Producing documentation for software requirements and change requests
  • Developing and maintaining the existing online set of products and services
  • Designing, architecting and developing a new set of gaming-related systems

Experience:

 

  • Relevant qualification in Computer Science or the equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Proven track record in Object-Oriented PHP development (Solid)
  • Practical experiences with frameworks, like Zend Framework or Symfony
  • Experience with Backed REST API
  • Knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL preferred) and ORM (Doctrine)
  • Unit testing skills (PHPUnit, Codeception
  • Experience with high traffic systems: AWS Kinesis, AWS DynamoDB, Kafka
  • Experience working with AWS technology stack
  • Experience with ICQRS
  • Knowledge of Redis or Memcached
  • Basic knowledge of Angular2 or higher
  • Python experience is considered a plus
