Our client is recruiting a Compliance Auditor to join their team and work closely with the Senior Compliance Executive. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing compliance audits and ensuring that licensees are compliant with the applicable laws, regulations, and directives. Additionally, you will also be resposnible for:
- Reviewing compliance audit reports
- Ensuring that relevant documents are submitted which are compliant with the applicable laws and are in accordance with the directives and policies of the relevant authority
- Reviewing and monitoring compliance of licensees’ systems and submitting recommendations;
- Ensuring completion of audit assignments, and provide independent, objective assurance;
- Ensuring final reports are issued with all recommendations;
- Overseeing and provide quality control on Prudential Compliance audits;
- Taking the lead in conducting on-site audits on gaming clients offering live table games and targeted audits when necessary
- Ensuring non-compliances observed are reported, escalated and adhered to by the licensees within a reasonable timeframe as agreed by the Authority
- Reviewing reports submitted by licensees in the case of breaches of the company’s information security that adversely affects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information relating to players;
- Formulating and assisting in the development of and/or maintaining processes and policies to achieve the objectives of the Department as may be communicated from time to time;
- Liaising with other Departments on prudential compliance matters, as necessary;
- Participating in meetings and/or calls with gaming operators or general queries;
- Carrying out any other duties/tasks as may be instructed from time to time by Management.
Experience & Skills:
- In possession of a Degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems (MQF Level 6).
- Possession of experience or qualifications in business, finance or accounting will be considered an asset;
- Possession of or willingness to pursue recognized certification to undertake IT audits (such as CISA or equivalent);
- Experience in information systems and financial auditing will be considered an asset;
- Interested in IT industry developments and changes;
