Our client is recruiting a Mobile Data Core Engineer to join their growing team.  Working within the core networks team you will be responsible for the correct installation, operation, and maintenance of state-of-the-art mobile data core networks focusing on the latest technologies such as IoT, 4.5G, and 5G mobile data. Additionally, you will be responsible for:

• Researching, recommending, and implementing technical solutions.
• Troubleshooting problems and providing timely corrective action.
• Introducing new equipment while maintaining equipment under the responsibility.
• Report generation and data analysis.
• Monitoring and analyzing technical reports.
• Preparing technical procedures and delivering training.
• Leading projects

Experience & Skills

• A Degree/Diploma level of education in ICT, IT, networking, telecommunications or equivalent
• Experience with Ericsson mobile data core equipment
• A good track record in a similar role.
• Experience in mobile data core network projects
• Deep knowledge of mobile network protocols such as GTP, SS7, and Diameter
• Experience in protocol tracing and analysis
• Knowledge of Linux, IP, and scripting
• Strong teamwork skills, committed to achieving results.
• Good command of the English language
