Data and Automation Analyst

Our client, an international CSP, is recruiting a Data and Automation Analyst to join their growing team. Working on various engagements within a team you will be responsible for:

  • Gaining comprehension of clients' business procedures and documenting them across financial, HR, customer, procurement, and other specialized domains.
  • Gathering and analysing clients' requirements for system functionality.
  • Engaging in the implementation of new technology and systems, including involvement in data migration, testing, and training phases.
  • Preparing procurement documentation for clients, such as RFP (Request for Proposal) and CFQ (Call for Qualifications).
  • Participating in workshops and training sessions to deliver the necessary training to customers, ensuring effective implementation of solutions.
  • Conducting desktop research to explore industry practices and systems, identifying technology-driven solutions for clients' business process challenges.
  • Performing data analytics tasks in various projects, identifying trends, and patterns, and applying methodologies to facilitate decision-making.
  • Creating reports, dashboards, and scorecards using a range of tools.
  • Analyzing business processes to uncover opportunities for implementing automation technologies.
  • Assisting in designing and implementing solutions for critical business use cases, providing support to cross-functional business units and the overall enterprise.
  • Engaging in proactive discussions on automation methodology and data analytics best practices.

Experience & Skills:

  • An MQF Level 6 in Computing or other ICT or engineering qualification
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Prior experience in using PowerBI and Power Automate would be considered as an asset
  • Ability to design, develop, and test automation workflows with assured quality enabled by scripting (e.g Python) and RPA technologies (e.g. UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate)
  • Proficient in using leveraging techniques to perform data analysis through the use of tools (e.g. SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, Power Query) 
  • Client-focused and outgoing personality
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, driven to excellence and a keen eye for detail
  • Good presentation skills with strong time management and team collaboration skills
  • Demonstrate thinking methodology/approach
  • Good understanding of database structures
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks resulting in operational efficiencies and process improvement;
