Our Client a CSP is seeking to recruit a Payroll Officer to join its payroll outsourcing team on a full-time basis. The responsibilities of the successful candidate in handling payroll services for a portfolio of clients from various industries include:
- Managing the full range of payroll services for clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborating and maintaining effective communication with clients and relevant third parties, such as government entities, regarding employment-related matters.
- Updating and maintaining accurate information in the payroll software.
- Calculating payroll accurately, considering any necessary adjustments or special circumstances.
- Generating and issuing payslips to employees.
- Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures as required, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
Experience & Skills
- Post-secondary level of education.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent command of both English and Maltese languages.
- Demonstrates ownership and takes responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
- Good understanding on how to use Excel.
