We are looking for a VoIP Systems Engineer to join our client's Core Networks team!  This technical role is focused on delivering VoIP services to residential and business customers in a consistent and reliable manner. You will be part of the Core Networks team responsible for the correct installation, operation and maintenance of our state-of-the-art fixed telephony SIP/cloud platforms including underlying IP network and local/international carrier interconnections within our client's technical operations centre. • Researching, recommending, and implementing technical solutions.
• Troubleshooting problems and providing timely corrective action.
• Introducing new equipment while maintaining equipment under responsibility.
• Generating reports and analyzing data.
• Monitoring and analyzing technical reports.
• Preparing technical procedures and delivering training.

Experience & Skills

• A degree level of education in ICT, IT, networking, telecommunications or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role is ideal; however, junior candidates and those with NOC experience will also be considered.
• Knowledge of SIP protocol.
• Knowledge on Cisco equipment and/or networking.
• Strong teamwork skills, attitude to learn and committed to achieving results.
• A good command of the English language.
• A valid driving license.
