Our client, an international software solution company, is recruiting a Core Solution Expert to join their infrastructure team. Being responsible for installations, operations and maintenance focusing on Cloud Based Telecom Messaging solutions. Working closely with the DevOps and NOC Teams your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting and carrying out tasks encompassing deployment management, aiding in integration support, managing vendor operations and support, overseeing service asset configuration and tracking service restoration, providing technical assistance, contributing to operational design, managing SLAs/KPIs, and offering second/third line support.
• Collaborating in defining specifications and designing the architecture for solutions to be installed or updated.
• Liaising with vendors, service providers, and internal teams to maintain alignment and ensure the delivery of essential functional and non-functional solution requirements.
• Organising, planning, and overseeing the performance of the Solution Delivery process; instituting corrective measures as needed to address performance gaps and delivery capabilities.
• Engaging with stakeholders to ensure that solutions, interventions, and issues meet the required standards and are addressed within the stipulated timeframe (SLAs).
• Contributing to generating realistic project delivery estimates while optimizing resource utilization for efficient project delivery, emphasizing reduced delivery time without compromising quality.
• Limited travel may be necessary.

Education & Experience:

• A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in similar Telco Senior / Engineering roles
• Telco Core network element exposure and troubleshooting such as (A2P & P2A Gateways, SMSCs, and STPs) are a must 
• Cloud design, integration and operations for AWS, Azure and VMware private clouds, are considered a must
• Hands-on experience with Linux SCTP & SMPP (utilities/libraries), especially network tracing tools such as Wireshark is a must.
• Experience in the telecommunications section protocols such as Sigtran/MAP & SMPP are considered as an asset.
• Structured and Logical Troubleshooting skills with ample hands specifically spanning: ESXi , Linux , TCP/IP , SCTP , RabbitMQ , Redis , PostGreSql/Mysq , Cisco & Fortigate L3 Switches & Firewalls.
• Able to adjust plans as necessary and provide alternative strategies to meet changing operational situations.
• Proficiency in the English language both written and verbal, good communication and reporting skills
