Our client is seeking to hire a full-time Revenue and Channel Manager to join their team. responsible for overseeing and enhancing hotel sales across various channels, with a primary focus on Barcelo.com and the Call Center. This role also involves optimizing sales through reservation centers, online agencies, GDS, L&B, and other avenues. Success in this position is contingent upon achieving set objectives within the various channels. Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Best Practices and Standard Operating Procedures to optimize revenue potential.
- Utilize designated systems and tools, including STR, Price Seeker, OTA Insight, and TravelClick, to support revenue management decisions with data analysis.
- Manage price adjustments across all channels in alignment with guidance from the GM/DSM, ensuring accurate BOB display
- Supervise daily updates of inventory management and implement pricing strategies to increase RevPAR and meet budget goals.
- Conduct daily price reviews and updates based on demand forecasts and market conditions.
- Analyze competitors to enhance market share and profitability relative to them.
- Enhance Barcelo.com's value through packages, additional offerings, and room upselling.
- Manage and execute individual and corporate offers and campaigns.
- Review and update photos and content and third-party channels.
- Prepare results reports using tools like FOCUS or reports accessible through Own Channels management.
- Generate comparative reports on competitors, including pricing and marketing campaigns.
- Proactively propose commercial actions, offers, and campaigns based on daily information, statistics, and industry trends.
- Oversee third-party websites as part of your responsibilities
Experience & Skills:
- Possession of a university degree in fields such as tourism, marketing, or related areas.
- Proficiency in understanding and managing ADS (alternative distribution systems), OTA (Online travel agencies), and GDS (global distribution channels).
- Capability to evaluate business trends and adjust strategies accordingly. Monitor pricing strategies employed by competitors and grasp local market dynamics and demand drivers.
- Familiarity with technical and management applications, including the use of Management Operating Systems (PMS), central reservation systems (CRS), and automatic revenue distribution systems (RMS) such as FOCUS, COGNOS, SAP, and CRM.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, meticulous, and analytical skills.
