Our client, a player within the hospitality industry is recruiting a Procurement Manager to join their operations team. As part of the team, your responsibility will include sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services essential for our daily operations, all while maintaining a commitment to quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability. Additionally, you will also be tasked with:

• Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and establishing strong, sustainable relationships with key vendors.
• ​Continuously monitoring vendor performance and compliance with contracts
• Developing and implementing cost-effective procurement strategies while maintaining high-quality standards
• Analyzing and optimizing costs to enhance financial performance
• Maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet operational needs without excess or shortage
• Implementing efficient inventory management systems
• Ensuring that all procured goods and services meet the hotel's quality and safety standards
• Implementing quality control processes to prevent issues and discrepancies.
• Developing and managing the procurement budget.
• Tracking and reporting expenditures, ensuring they align with budgetary constraints.
• Staying informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Ensuring that procurement practices comply with all legal and ethical requirements.

Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of achieving cost savings.
• Excellent knowledge of procurement regulations, best practices, and industry trends.
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and ethical sourcing practices.
