Our client is recruiting a Director of Sales & Business Development to be responsible for strategically identifying international markets and partners the company can penetrate into. Additionally, the responsibilities will also include:
- Formulating and executing an all-encompassing sales and business development strategy aimed at propelling international expansion.
- Identifying and targeting prospective clients across global markets, encompassing taxi operators, tax associations, fleet managers, and transportation authorities.
- Fostering robust relationships with key industry stakeholders and leaders, establishing credibility and fostering trust.
- Showcasing our software solutions to potential City Partners, elucidating their value proposition and competitive edge.
- Leading negotiations and facilitating the closure of agreements, securing contracts with new City Partners and broadening the company's global footprint.
- Directing and inspiring a team of sales professionals to meet sales objectives and foster business growth.
- Monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics to discern patterns, gauge effectiveness, and refine approaches.
- Remaining updated on industry dynamics, competitor maneuvers, and emerging trends in the ride-hailing landscape.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development, preferably within the ride-hailing or technology industries.
- Extensive experience in closing complex deals with international clients.
- Deep understanding of the global ride-hailing/taxi industry, including market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and customer needs.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential clients at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in using sales and marketing software tools.
